Terms and conditions

1. Scope and contracting party

These conditions apply to every transfer booked through airporttransferberlin.com. Your contracting party is Airport Transfer Berlin, Warschauer Platz 11-13, 10245 Berlin, Germany.

We provide private hire with a driver under German passenger transport law. This is not a taxi service: rides are arranged in advance and cannot be hailed in the street.

Part of the fleet is ours; the remaining journeys are carried out by contracted partner operators holding a permit for hire cars with a driver under section 49 PBefG. Your contract remains with us in either case, including the price and any complaint, and on request we name the operator assigned to your ride before you travel.

2. How the contract is formed

Your booking in the form is an offer. The contract is formed when we confirm it by email, stating route, time, vehicle class and fixed price. Bookings are taken at least 12 hours before pickup; anything shorter we arrange over WhatsApp.

3. The service

You book the whole vehicle of the class you chose, with a professional driver — no sharing and no surge pricing. For airport pickups the driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a name sign.

The stated seat and luggage counts are binding. One piece of luggage means one full-size suitcase. If you are above that, book the next class up; otherwise the driver may refuse to carry it.

4. Prices

All prices are per vehicle, not per passenger, and include VAT, meet and greet, tolls and airport charges.

Between BER and Berlin a fixed price applies in both directions, from 85 € per ride. Long-distance rides from BER are calculated by distance; the price is stated before confirmation and does not change afterwards. Waiting time, extra stops or route changes requested by the passenger may be charged separately.

5. Waiting time, flight delays and luggage

For airport pickups, 60 minutes from the actual landing are free. We track the flight number you gave, so a delayed arrival simply moves the pickup with no surcharge.

For pickups at an address, 15 minutes are free. Waiting beyond that may be charged.

Child seats are free on request, provided you ask for them when booking.

6. Cancellation and no-show

Cancellation is free until 24 hours before the agreed pickup time. After that we charge 50 % of the fare. If the passenger does not appear at the meeting point without cancelling, the full fare is due.

It does not count as a no-show if you reach us on WhatsApp or by phone and we agree a new time together.

7. Payment

Billing is in euros. Other currencies on the site are for reference only and are converted at European Central Bank rates. The payment method is stated in your booking confirmation.

8. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, in cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations and only up to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.

We are not liable for missed flights or appointments where the delay is outside our control — traffic, road closures, weather or strikes, for example. Please allow a sensible buffer for departures.

9. Governing law

German law applies. If the passenger is a consumer, the protective provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
