FlixBus has significantly expanded its connections to Berlin Brandenburg Airport in 2026. New direct routes and additional departures make BER more accessible from eastern Germany, Poland and selected destinations on the Baltic Sea coast.
According to BER Airport, up to 155 FlixBus services stop at the airport each day during the peak season. Around 90 German cities and 60 Polish cities now have a direct connection to BER without requiring a transfer.
More FlixBus services from eastern Germany
Leipzig now has up to nine FlixBus departures in each direction per day, compared with four previously. The fastest connections between Leipzig and BER take slightly more than two hours.
Additional services also improve connections from Schwerin, Jena and Chemnitz. Görlitz and Zittau are now connected directly to BER, while Oberwiesenthal and Annaberg-Buchholz receive a daily direct airport connection for the first time.
Seasonal connections from the Baltic Sea coast
During July and August, a seasonal route connects BER directly with Warnemünde, Bad Doberan and Kühlungsborn. This gives travellers from the Baltic Sea coast another option for reaching the airport without changing in central Berlin.
Direct FlixBus connections from Poland
FlixBus also provides frequent direct services between BER and several Polish cities. Poznań has up to 15 departures in each direction per day, with an average journey time of about three hours and twenty minutes.
Wrocław is connected by up to 13 daily services in each direction, while Szczecin has up to 12. Average journey times are approximately four hours from Wrocław and two and a half hours from Szczecin.
What passengers should check before travelling
Timetables and journey times may vary by date, route and traffic conditions. Passengers should confirm the departure point, scheduled arrival time, luggage rules and sufficient time between the bus arrival and the airline check-in or boarding deadline.
Travellers arriving by long-distance bus may also need additional transport between BER and their final hotel, business address or destination in Berlin.
Planning onward transport from BER
A pre-booked airport transfer can be arranged for passengers continuing from BER to a Berlin address or another city. The booking should include the arrival time, terminal, passenger count, luggage and final destination.
