Visitors have one final opportunity to see a portrait of Lionel Messi at Berlin Olympiastadion. The Martin Schoeller “Close Up” exhibition in the stadium’s Hall of Honour ends on Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Messi among international stars

The exhibition includes portraits of football legends Lionel Messi, Pelé and Zinédine Zidane. Martin Schoeller’s close-up photographs also feature Taylor Swift, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Udo Lindenberg, Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington.

Final-day opening hours

Individual visitors can see the exhibition between 10:00 and 15:00. It is located in the Ehrenhalle, the Hall of Honour, at Berlin Olympiastadion.

Documentary screening on 9 August

The documentary “We All Bleed Red” will be shown in the Hall of Honour at 14:00. No separate film ticket is required; a valid admission ticket for Berlin Olympiastadion is sufficient.

Tickets and journey

Standard stadium admission costs EUR 11, reduced admission EUR 8, and tickets for children aged 6 to 14 cost EUR 6. Children under six enter free when accompanied by an adult. A family ticket costs EUR 27.

Visitors should check current opening information before travelling. A private transfer to Olympiastadion Berlin can be booked from BER Airport, a hotel, railway station or any address in Berlin.
